This site is a tribute to Joseph better known as Joe to most.  Joe sadly passed away peacefully on 26th October 2020 after being diagnosed just a month earlier with late stage liver cancer.

Joe lived in Long Crendon all his life although travelled extensively whilst in the Fleet Air Arm after the war.  He worked in many local Engineering companies and was an honorary life member of the Royal Naval Association in Thame.  Joe was married to Joy from 1952 until 1980 and to Barbara from 1986 until her passing in 2018.  He was a keen and successful gardener winning many prizes at village horticultural shows.  He is much loved and will always be remembered by his family, his many friends and his neighbours.
